HI - Foz do Iguaçu - Paudimar Hostel Reviews from the Web
Hostelz.com Guest Reviews
4  Good The room and bathroom were ok. The staff very friendly and the owner very helpful. We booked at the reception desk few trips and they organised them very well. There is a big space to hang out, a bar, and swimming pool. The only disadvantage was very poor breakfast, but in general worth recommendation.  , PL ()
5  Great environment and nice atmosphere, although needs a bus into town and the local connecting bus stops at seven p.m. -- but you're not really missing much by not being in town. Great friendly staff and tourism guide (although he's definitely on commission!). Rooms fine. Bathrooms good. Extras great -- pool is nice, but untreated, canteen good (dinner now R$9), and apparently there's a communal kitchen too, lots of sports facilities. Best hostel on my trip so far.  ()
5  LP describes this hostel as a "mini-resort" and it really is. The place is clean, well run, friendly, and extremely helpful. Oh yeah, they even have a desk where you can book tours to the Argentinian side, Pantanal, or any other part of Brazil. It's 30 minutes from the city by public bus but there isn't much going on in the city at night anyway. This is the place to stay if you stay on the Brazilian side.  ()
4  The Paudimar Hostel is a pretty nice place. It is a resort in the fact that it is far away from anywhere. The dorm rooms are small but clean. The bathrooms are clean and have individual shower stalls, which is nice. There is a free buffet breakfast that is standard fruit, cake, and bread. They offer a buffer dinner at night that costs 7 Reals. It is not that bad for the price. There is not much to do at night. They have a bar area with a small TV and a pool table located by the pool. It is a good place to read and meet other travelers.  ()
