I always miss this place. clean and safe. I always miss this this place, the lovely owner, Liz and the manager, Toni. it's been twelve years ago and I highly recommend this place to whoever is looking for a nice, clean, and safe place to stay in the heart of auckland. there's no place but CCB.

Nice The owner is a funny if you get a chance to chat up with him -- elderly but very energetic and lively.Loved the location and proximity to Q st. Slightly tall rates as compared locally but then the bar in the basement's cool. open twenty-four hours. counter staff helpful but not intrusive. big kitchen. bathrooms ok. cold since no heating. nice, all in all.

Good location but can be a bit noisy with traffic. Dorms were cold in April!!! The staff are pretty good — helpful and friendly. Kitchens are not too good and the bathrooms are a bit iffy, too, but I managed ok. The bar downstairs is friendly and fun — overall it's not a bad place to stay!! Could do with a lick of paint but fine for the money.
