Pathetic hostel filthy unhygienic, and not worth living. Dumb and biased staff. very clumsy facilities and lousy internet connection. even 1 star is not worth giving. — Anonymous , USA (2011-05-23) COOL PLACE IN SING i stayed approx 1 year in katong. its a nice place as far as the security is concern but the management is not so good in respect of taking timely payments from the students. Katong hostel is one of the few hostels that i stay in, i been staying in other hostel for a month and was quite unhappy about the service stranded, the rooms of the other hostels. It was then that my friend mention to me about katong hostel and i decided to give it a try and after that i had been staying there till to the day when i return to china. It is the biggest hostels in singapore and in there i get to know many friends from all over the world. The rooms were being well taken care of and the service staffs in katong hostel are very familiar and helpful too. i strongly recommend this hostel to students that are staying in singapore during their stay. It's a little small but very exciting.
