Description
A unique natural bushland setting that abounds with wildlife and native vegetation. Set on 20ha this is a place to unwind and discover a very different part of Australia. Accommodation consists of self-contained apartments with ensuites to each bedroom. Our resident Cockatoos and Lorikeets will keep you amused for hours not to mention our herd of Kangaroos. If on the other hand you prefer relaxing with a nice meal we have our own Bistro and bar on the premises. We have a world class equestrian centre which operates all year including trail rides through the bush and along our magnificent beach front. World Heritage listed Fraser Island is to the north and Teewah coloured sands will facinate and delight. We also have bicycles, canoes and scooters to hire, the hostel features two pools, tennis court, self service laundry and general store.

| Location | Located at the Gateway to the Great Sandy National Park, with over 50 kilometres of Beach, adjacent to Lake Cooroibah a truely unique setting in Queensland Australia. Approximately 140 kilomtres north of Brisbane or an easy 2 hours drive from the Queensland capital. Just 40 minutes from Maroochydore airport on the Sunshine Coast or 15 minutes by courtesy bus from bustling Noosa Heads Transit Centre. Alternatively you can take a train from Brisbane to Nambour and then a bus to Noosa Heads, we'll collect you from there. |

Oh my god it is the best hostel i have ever stayed in. all the rooms are like apartments, no more then eight people share a kitchen. your own bathroom in the rooms. couches and TV and a roo at your door every morning! mic the bus driver is awsome! go here its great!!! — Footer canada (2006-06-14) This was one of the best hostels I have ever been too!! The staff were great! Especially Mickey D!!! The hostel room are fantastic, you get a four-bed room attached to another four-bed room, and a sharing lounge area with TV and sofa and kitchen with anything you could possibly need!! Then in the morning when you sit and eat breakfast outside you will be visited by anything from kangaroos to peacocks! They have a wide range of things to do from swimming, kayaking, tennis, to horse/camel riding! So much to do, even though it is a bit away from the main city!!! The rooms were really spacious and they had huge lounges and kitchens! Really good facilities! They had wild kangaroos hopping around the grounds and wild peacocks! It's a huge place. The lake was gorgeous, especially at sunset! The beach was close but was quite a long way to walk! The only problem we found was that you had to get a bus over to the main part of Noosa and it only left 3 times a day. One day we missed the last bus and ended up getting stuck on the resort for a whole day, which was a bit disappointing, but if you're organized then it's definitely worth staying there!
