Beached at Bondi was the worst place we stayed in during our travels. and then we spent time in both asia, australia, and new zealand. Don't go there! Dirty, filthy, and feels like a brothel.

Nice little freindly hostel with all that you need. Like a big house without mum! Good value for money and would recommend it to anyone.

The hostel was awful. I had pre-booked over the Internet for a 4-share. I arrived in the afternoon and had to call the number for someone to let me in (someone on desk from 10 a.m. till 12 p.m.!!). The room was overbooked and rather than calling any of us weeks in advance to cancel our room they just shoved 10 people in a room that sleeps 8 (two were on the floor!). The hostel is above a pub (which they don't mention) and they play loud music that you can feel through the floor, from 5 p.m. till 11:30. Please don't go for your own sanity!

I didn't really like this hostel. Very stuffy, and it looked a bit dirty. The owner wasn't there when I arrived on Boxing Day, although I made a reservation well in advance. I had to call him from a phone booth to get instructions. When I left on New Year's Day he wasn't there at 1 p.m. and I had difficulties getting my $50 dollar deposit back. No, I won't recommend this hostel to anyone.
