Prime Backpackers is welcoming and clean upon arrival. The receptionists are very friendly and informative and make sure that the check in process is as quick and easy as possible. There is a small fee for key security, which you get refunded upon departure.
The Location
The location of this hostel is great. It is located in a decent neighbourhood and close by to the main streets of Bournemouth. It is relatively quiet but close to any action happening in the downtown of the city. The hostel is easy to find if navigating with a car. There are bus stops close by and it is located within walking distance to most shopping centres and the beach. There is no available parking for guests traveling in a car, and it is suggested that guests pay money to park in a nearby (uncovered) parking lot.
Rooms and Bathrooms
The dorm rooms are occupied by triple bunk beds and are spacious and clean. There are some small lockers available for guests to use if they wish (locks are not included). The beds are comfortable and linen is clean and warm.
The shared bathrooms are unisex and provide guests with decent hot-water showers and a place to get changed. The shower pressure is great and bathroom setup is well thought out. There are three sinks outside the showers with mirrors and bench space. The toilets are separated from the showers and located on different levels. The toilets are quite small (two per level) and also unisex.
Common Spaces
There are indoor and outdoor common spaces for guests to use; however the outdoor space is usually filled with people who are smoking. The indoor spaces vary in mood, with one dark and cosy room (with TV screen and couches) and a smaller area with chairs and PC with printer. The communal kitchen is spacious and provides guests with enough utensils, pots, pans, and cutlery to make all of their meals in-house. There is a large dining area for guests to use also.

In summary, this hostel is welcoming and well set up. It gives a happy vibe and a place for travelers to mingle and meet others. It is recommended for those who want a nice, clean stay and somewhere close to the city centre.

Location
• From Bournemouth Railway and Bus Station:
• Exit Bournemouth Station, turn right towards Coach House Place. You will walk under the big dual carriageway road, and be parallel with the train tracks.
• Turn left onto Park Road. At the junction turn left again, onto Lansdowne Road.
• Cross the road and take the right onto Dean Park Road. At the end of the road go up the stairs and turn right onto Madeira Road.
• Take the underpass and you will come out on Old Christchurch Road. Turn left onto Fir Vale Road and Baggies is at number 10.
• Busses From the Station:
• Take bus number 3, 4a, 4b, 4c, or 13 and get off at the St Peter's roundabout.
• Turn right and walk St Peter's Street for about 5 minutes and Baggies is at the end of the road.
