Cozy Castle Hostel captures the beach-town feel of Ballycastle, with a personal, friendly, live-in owner. A small to medium size hostel, it has a bit of that 1970's feel, with lots of wood, warmth, and breezy colours.
The bedrooms are neat and cozy, with bedding provided, and the bathrooms are clean, although not state of the art. A large comfortable kitchen is a great place to meet people and has all the standard amenities. The small lounge is stocked up with books, movies, and a television.
The hostel is very close to the seaside and the main road through town, with its distinctive yellow front hard to miss. Overnight parking is available nearby. The town of Ballycastle is fairly small with a fun high street where you can eat out and the beach atmosphere on the coast. Rathlin Island also awaits your visit with a fun ferry ride.
If you're looking for something with a slick downtown feel, then this hostel may be a little too relaxed for you. Otherwise, you'll find it a pleasant and warm place to stay.
