If it hadn't been for the Cervantino festival and everything being booked up, I wouldn't have stayed here. They still haven't got the hang of emptying bins or cleaning the bathrooms. The terrace would be nice if they gave it a good scrub, they also won't allow you up there after 10 p.m. There is a sushi restaurant downstairs and all the washing up from that comes to the hostel kitchen. The people that start work there in the morning will also put the TV on very loud and very early, which can be clearly heard from all the dorms -- nil points!

2 Eh.
Staff was very friendly and the pink rooftop terrace was quite nice. The location was very convenient -- one-minute walk from the main "Jardin," though the road noise got a little tiresome at night. I don't give this place a very good rating because it was pretty darn dirty. I don't think the bathroom was cleaned once while I was there, and the linens were dirty when I arrived. There were indeed security lockers, but random people could come and go just a little too easily for my liking. So I'd stay in a different hostel next time -- and I mean next time because this city is wild!

3 Nice dorm rooms, festive rooftop terrace, and excellent location in Guanajuato. Unfortunately, the bathrooms were not cleaned the six days I was there, which prompted me to find another hostel for my last days.
