You can arrive to Ica city by bus.- Once at the bus station in Ica you can take a taxi to Huacachina for about 8 soles. Arriving to Huacachina you continue straight (instead of turning right with most of the traffic) and you will see a place where they charge people who go on the dune buggies a municipal tax. We are right there fenced in with bamboo. Taxis sometimes try to bring you elsewhere for comissions, be aware of this.
