I stayed in the Rain Tree Lodge, and the experience was great. Edgar was incredibly helpful with making any sort of arrangement I needed for going to the Backwaters, for suggesting restaurants, and for arranging transportation. He was a gracious host who gave you the feeling you were his only client. At the time I stayed there, I was living in Bangalore, India. Edgar called a day or so after I returned to Bangalore just to make sure that everything had been good and that the plans he'd arranged went well after we left the Lodge. Highly recommended.

It was wonderful! I saw the owner eat a live dog. It was an amazing day.

Raintree Lodge was one of the best Hotels we have visited in all over Kerala. The Owner and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was stylish, very beautiful and clean. The hotel is in a very quiet road in Fort Kochi. Mr. Pinto helped us to find other good acomodations in other places in Kerala. We loved to stay in that quiet house in Cochin.
