Came back here several times. Very clean, staff was friendly, made some great friends -- love the patio! Got very ill with strep throat when I was there and the staff made sure I was well taken care of, offered to help, showed me where to find a Doctor.

An interesting setting this one, very tropical!. The place was clean and well decorated, however it was not very friendly. I stayed for a weekend and no one would barely speak to me! There must have been a fair few long termers here. The staff seemed fine but i was not overly impressed. Some silly rules like closing the kitchen for 10 hours etc, A good hostel needs atmosphere and fun and this lacked it.

This hostel is full of "long-stay" guests and so I found it really difficult to have a conversation here. For the ones who already stay here it is like a little family but if you are just passing through you may feel like an outsider. The rooms are nice and clean though, but the kitchen is too small and is often crowded. Friendly reception but not a great location!

This hostel is pretty clean with a reasonable kitchen and small dorm rooms. Many of the people in this hostel are working in Brisbane and so you tend to get lot of people staying for a few months. Subsequently the hostel is very quiet and it can feel rather antisocial at times. There are only two men's showers, which can cause a few problems in the mornings. Also one of the Ozzy guys who works there was very rude to me just before I checked out, telling me to stop chatting to my mate and get packing at 10 minutes to 10. No need for that. Stay here if you're looking for a quiet life.
