Dirty, horrible bunk mattresses, no pillows. It was very loud (I could hear people in the reception area on the main floor ALL NIGHT from my room on the top floor). I got a rude reception. Overall I got a very poor impression. I would advise avoiding this one.

I stayed in this hostel last summer and was very satisfied with it. It is only a step from the Charles Bridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they booked accommodation in their hostel in Brno and there was no problem reserving a night for two days in advance (I kept coming back). Though dorms are sleeping 16 people and showers are communal (and a bit short on hot water), they were both clean and I had no problems with other visitors. Breakfast was good and I could take double share when I departed very early in the morning the next day! Recommended! The pizzeria opposite of the hostel had a very unfriendly staff though.
