This hostel was close to the shop, beach, and cafes in Hahei. It was part of a larger motel-type complex and did not have the usual hostel layout or atmosphere. However the facilities were all fine and the management was very helpful. They also provide free spade hire for Hot Water Beach.

Clean, tidy, attractive timber chalet-style hostel with a really nice outdoor area, really close to the beach, and next to the shops and cafes. I thought this place was great.

It needed more rooms and it also needed to be painted.
