The staff take the laid back approach to a whole new level.. their favourite phrase is ''ill be with you in twenty minutes.' we gave up trying to get a working key for our room ann left it on the latch all week. and half of us didnt actually check in. but hey. we had a fantastic time and i wud definitely go back! Its in a perfect location, right next to the beach, and has a fantastic atmosphere! True, the accommodation isnt the best ive ever stayed in, but a beds a bed. If you're a laidback young person up for a laugh, want to party all night, meet loads of friendly and interesting people, then its the perfect place! Was my first time in newquay and ill definitely be going back.

Not the cleanest, but it didn't matter at all! It's the best place ever. Everyone is so chilled out, and it's right next to the beach and near to some fabulous clubs. Visit Cribbers because it's great! I'll be back next year!

It's a disgrace. There is more space in a prison cell. There were bare wires in the shower, nails sticking out of the walls and dirt and dust everywhere. The curtains were broken, plus the ladders for the beds did not fit correctly. The room was the size of a cupboard and consisted of six beds and a shower. The shower had not been cleaned; it had clumps of hair in it. It was supposed to be an en suite room, but we had to actually go downstairs, past the bar to visit the toilet or even brush our teeth. We asked for the shower to be cleaned and the manager said it would; however it never was. There was no mirror, bin, clothes rail, nothing, I wouldn't even call it a room. They think they can treat youths like dirt and they won't complain, but they are wrong. The accommodation totally ruined my experience of Newquay. It's the first time I've been and I probably won't ever visit Newquay again because of this.
In addition, don't try ringing the hostel as no one ever picks up the phone, therefore you cannot confirm your booking. I left two telephone messages and sent two e-mails to confirm our stay, yet I was told that as I had not confirmed (although I had) they apparently did not know we were staying. Therefore were given room 7a, the most disgusting and appalling room. Surely having six beds in such a tiny room would be a health and safety problem. I dread to think what would have happened if there had been a fire, as you had to clamber over bars and ladders to merely get to your bed. We are very disappointed, as we have stayed in many hostels before, which have been great. This one is most definitely not.

The best time EVER with my mates! Everyone's running around on a night having a laugh. Most are drunk! Everyone's young. It's near to the center. Really near to the beach. Back next year!!

I went here last summer and had an amazing time. The staff were really nice, and it's close to the clubs and the beach. It's well worth it.

I had the best time of my life when I came to stay here. It's a great place to stay if you're up for clubbing and going to the beach. The staff here are great and really make you feel welcome!!! I would really recommend this hotel as the best place in Newquay to stay, and I will definitely be returning soon.
