Comfortable rooms, nice view, great location, excelent staff I had a great experience in Cairo thanks to the help of Isis Hotel. An authentic Cario welcoming from the staff was just what I was hoping for, and when I arrived I was pleased to see a nice peaceful room waiting for me. The tours were fantastic. Everything was great at a reasonable price. Next time I come to Cairo, I will stay again at Isis hotel without doubt. — mousemicah@hotmail.com , USA (2011-09-15)

isis pick up on the airport my stay was immediately comfortable. The elevator was little bit small and old but upstairs on the 15th floor the place is clean and spacious enough for the easy going traveler. The hotel is small but service does meet easily the service of the big hotels. Staffmembers as Muhammed Ali &madhad is famous on the Ramses street. From the window on the 15th floor you look out over the Nile as well as over the roof of the famous Egypt museum with over 20000 items of past ancient Egypt. Also they arrange for you all kind of trips in and around Cairo on request but it is also easy grab a cab downstairs. — bekaswm , usa (2010-12-01)

Great view Very friendly staff, clean rooms, great view, excellent value for money. A special thank you to Medhead. — brendon knight , Australia Sydney (2010-09-06)

Its real Cairo Whatever you think Cairo is about, you find it in Isis. The hotel is cozy, clean, simple, and most of all affordable. With a great location in the heart of Cairo, most of the popular attractions in Cairo are reachable form the nearby bus-stop and metro-station. But the real spirit of Isis is its helpful and friendly staff. I definitely recommend it. — Rami , Sudanses (2010-03-16)

Friendly service and good value We stayed here 3 nights coming from USA and were picked up from the airport by their driver and took a tour arranged by them of luxor, aswan, giza, and then of the el bahirya oasis. We left our luggage their while we were off on the tours, stopping back at the hotel twice between the separate trips. Had no problems, and they did our laundry for a small fee each time as well, and also arranged smaller outings like trip around cairo and a nile river dinner cruise. they speak english and were helpful on phone and email. the hotel is on the top floor of a 15 story building, so if you arrive on your own you might have to search a bit to find the right elevator, but once you know where its at its easy to find. — Anonymous , USA (2010-03-13)

If I visit Cairo again I will stay here. I e-mailed the hotel with some preliminary dates that I had planned to stay and pricing info. They promptly e-mailed me back with the info I needed. My plans changed a bit and I neglected to inform them. I arrived and they did not have space for me. Not only did they secure me space in a hostel nearby, the staff helped me to get acquainted with the city and provided me with internet and telephone use. They were so cool that I actually went back to chill out in their lobby and just sat and laughed with them about all sorts of things. If and when I return to Cairo I will stay with Isis. The only reason I did not actually give them a 5-star rating is the fact that I did not sleep in a room there. Fantastic staff!!!!! — Timothy , USA (2010-03-07)

Excellent I enjoyed my stay at Isis hotel very much, the location is great in downtown Cairo and near the Egyptian museum, I also liked the very friendly staff always there and ready to help you providing very good service. I warmly recommend this hotel. — jean-marc , France (2010-03-05)

Welcoming place to stay with genuinley friendly staff. I stayed here for 4 days with my family including three kids aged between 5 and 9. The staff were genuinely friendly and always gave reliable advice. Rooms were big and clean. Free internet was very handy. We booked one of their extended tours and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of everything that was included and very reasonable prices. At the end of our tour we decided to stay in the same place before leaving Cairo. Would highly recommend this place along with the tours they offer. — Samar Mushtaq , British (2010-02-17)

Good, should be three star for the service and people who work here I like about this place that the staff over here is very reassuring that there will be no surprises of what kind so ever. They are very kind, they even do some shopping for you as a guest when you do not feel like going out. They do not overcharge and ask reasonable and fair prices for tea, coffee, and breakfast. No hustling, no nonsense, and a good atmosphere. Not to noisy in the hotel. It is a clean hotel and being kept clean. So I would really like to recommend this place, I've seen about more than twenty hotels in Cairo, some 4-star, some 3-star, some 2-star, but this one I like far the most. Because it makes you feel comfortable without any nonsense or luxuries they cannot afford or serve. — enoha , dutch (2010-02-02)

Clean, good location, and excellent value for the money. Excellent hotel very clean and good value for the money. The staff is very helpful and they treat you like a member of their family. You get a far more personal touch with this hotel than at a larger chain type hotel -- for this I was very grateful. I highly recommend you book tours through this hotel as the prices are far more reasonable than at other places and you can trust the staff! — George Ferguson , Canadian (2010-01-18)

Very good I stayed at Isis 3 days when arrived in Cairo: they organized the transfer to the airport and gave me a large room with en suite bathroom, on the back of the building. This is important, because Cairo is a very noisy city (day and night). The room and the bathroom are simple but clean and towels are being changed every day. I was welcomed by very friendly staff who are ready to help you with suggestions about restaurants, place to visit and excursion. As I only had 6 days I decided to book through them both the pyramids and a 1night/2 days in Luxor. They took care of everything, train reservation as well. I could leave my luggage in the storage room and was therefore traveling very light. Coming back to Cairo very early in the morning, I was welcomed with a nice coffee and a smile. Sop I can recommend Isis Hotel to everybody who's looking for a budget but clean and friendly accommodation and a perfect location in the centre of the city. (opposite the egyptian museum). Don't be afraid of the old lift and the cats who are on the stairs, they contribute to Isis flair. — silvia , italian (2010-01-06)

Excellent Service The Isis Hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. They helped plan affordable day-excursions in the greater Cairo area and provided advice on entertainment, restaurants, and various sites. There is a family atmosphere which is in stark contrast to many of the large hotels. For the budget traveler, the Isis is a great choice, and I would come here again if I return to Cairo in the future. — Andrew , USA (2009-12-19)

Very good I booked Isis hotel through the recommendation of a friend. The experience turned out to be excellent. They are very friendly and helpful. I stored my luggage there and went to Luxor. When I came back and before I departed for the airport, I even had a free shower. All in all, it is a nice family hotel. If you need help, they can provide. — Bing , China (2009-12-10)

Very good Although the isis is not the five star hilton, the rooms are spacious, the beds and rooms are clean, the staff and manager are trustworthy and looking out for your best interests. The hotel is in a good location, literally across the street from the egyptian museum, and close to the "nightlife" -- call it what you will. Nobody is asking or demanding baksheesh, i feel comfortable and safe here. The isis will also arrange a driver for you from the airport who is known to the manager, and this driver will never overcharge you. — Dustin Rogers , Canada (2009-12-06)

Great welcome in crazy Cairo When you are coming to Cairo, you can be sure that you will get lot of new experiences. Some of them will be good, some of them not. But when you will start your trip in this hotel, friendly and helpful stuff will do everything to help you survive first hectic days comfortably. Even though hotel is in downtown, close to Egyptian Museum and most busiest squares in town, its still calm oasis in middle of egyptian chaos. One of things, which make everything easier for you is free Wi-Fi, breakfast, and faithful room service. Stuff in hotel also helped us with arranging our trips to pyramids, Sakkara, and other different places in whole Egypt, for very reasonable price. — Kurt6464 , czech (2009-12-01)
