Great and hugely informative This hostel is well known by travelers and you need to book in advance. They do a free talk every day at 3 p.m. telling you everything you need to know about trekking in Torres del Paine -- everything from which treks are perfect for your time frame to what food brands are good at the local supermarket! These guys really know their stuff and the hostel is very comfortable. Only problems are the time restraints on showering but easily overcome with a bit of planning. Bill the notorious American owner even lent me trekking clothes free of charge as I was ridiculously unprepared for the trip! (Thanks Bill.)

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone preparing for a trip to the Torres del Paine National Park. It has an American owner who was very knowledgeable about the park. They also offer excursions into the park and the surrounding area. The rooms were clean, as were the bathrooms. We stayed here before and after our hike. Breakfast was just what was needed before a long trek out in the park: scrambled eggs and real coffee!
