5 Five-Star Service and Accommodation
Centrally located, this hostel is completely unassuming, yet you will find yourself enjoying its warm, cosy atmosphere; free and good coffee and popcorn for those winter months; helpful staff who are only too keen to bend over to help you; and smaller than usual size. Hidden away just off one of the main drags and appearing from the street to have a dogged style, the Green Bridge will lure you in, and you will double and triple your planned stay. More than ample clean showers and bathrooms, warm bedding. Only criticism is that the (free) internet is slow, and that the pillows are small (but you can normally get extras) -- but these are the smallest of complaints and are more than made up for with the excellent service, great price, and central location. Absolutely recommended.

5 Very, very good
this is the our first hostel's experience and we never think that it is could be so beautiful. great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and clear rooms. there are many travelers that choose this hostel because it is really in the budapest center and the price is best in this area.

5 This place is central, staffed by helpful and friendly people and is very reasonably priced. The staff are very accommodating -- they even make popcorn and great coffee upon request. There's hot showers, a comfy lounge area, two computers, and no bunk beds. It can get noisy if you have the dorm room next to the lounge but there are other dorm rooms to choose from where you can escape from the noise. Great atmosphere.

5 A great hostel in an excellent location -- feels like a home away from home. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and will give plenty of information on the city recommending everything from restaurants to themal spas. They will even provide popcorn and coffee when watching DVD's from their collection! Will definitely stay here again.

5 Great location; the owners are extremely nice. It's the cleanest hostel I've ever been to. Very relaxed laid-back environment. It's more like an apartment than a hostel. Highly recommend.

3 This place was really bizarre. It doesn't feel like a hostel at all. It feels like you're camping out in someone's living room. The woman who checked me in was nice enough but the room I slept in was essentially a big room with a bunch of futons on the floor. Very weird. The location was excellent, right next to the river and not too far a walk from everything, but I didn't find it very welcoming. Of course, I stayed here in December, but after three nights, I couldn't wait to leave Budapest.

5 Fantastic location, great atmosphere. Xavier and Tunda are the best hosts ever! Great place to meet people and we would definitely stay here again! Thanks for the best coffees ever. Xavier and Tunda; you almost lose a star for those sh*t pillows! But your kindness and generosity makes up for it. ;)

5 The hostel is in an apartment in a beautiful old building a block away from the Danube. There's a faded elegance to this place, which adds a lot of character. The staff were very welcoming, more like hosts in a "pensione" rather than typical hostel employees. Everything is really clean and they serve the best free coffee ever.

5 The staff are friendly, the hostel is clean and funky, and they have nice coffee and location. There's nothing better than walking out in the morning and going for a walk down the river.
