4 Decent!
This hostel was the best I stayed at. It has tons of rooms, private beds (curtains around them), a kitchen so you can cook your own food, a luggage room, friendly staff and a general store with super cheap food! The bar is quite nice as well.

5 Full services, dormlike experience
Staying at the globetrotter feels like you are staying in a dormitory. I am in my mid-twenties, and when I stayed there, my roommates were the same, but there were many young school groups staying there (high school or middle school). This means they are annoying but they sleep early when they have curfew. Location -- ok. You have to take the Underground to get to the hostel, which is not that close to central london. But the Underground is very good. Price -- excellent. I booked this place for $20USD per night through hostelz.com. Food -- Good. Free all you can eat toast, cereal, juice, milk, coffee. Curfew -- none. Internet -- a reasonable $6/hr bought in increments of twenty minutes.

4 We recently stayed at the Hostel and we got our own private room. We slept fine and it was quiet and we felt safe. We would stay there again and the price was about average. It was clean except one of the trash cans in the room wasn't dumped previously. The staff were great! Very helpful. What we were pleasantly suprised by were the ammenitites and the activities planned that the hostel provided. It was a fun atmosphere. The breakfast was good. The facility overall was very clean. Definitely a thumbs up!

4 This hostel was pretty great! It was cheap for London and the fact that it was outside of the city center wasn't a problem at all. It was in such a nice area, they have so much room to hang out, suntan, eat, or do anything. There's a bar, a store, Internet room, so much! The only downfall I had while I was there was that I was in a room with two of the many people who are living there and not just backpacking, so you can't depend on meeting anyone in your room. Other than that, I loved it!

1 We stayed at this hostel and I made the booking. When we paid my friend paid with her credit card. A week later I saw that they had also charged my credit card with the full amount. With a few phone calls I eventually got the money back, but I was also told that this happens quite often. I can only say watch out. And it is very noisy, so if you want to sleep in peace STAY AWAY!!!

5 I have stayed at the Globetrotter Inn on several occasions and have found each of them just as good, if not better than the previous stay. On other ratings pages I have seen people complain that this place is too far away, but in all honesty, London is a huge place, it takes 30 minutes to get ANYWHERE. With this in mind, I do believe that this hostel makes up for any shortcomings in location by the fantastic atmosphere and facilities provided. The staff there are friendly and helpful, and they have a great travel desk, who will freely help you with all of your travel plans within London, and also the rest of the UK. The hostel is staffed very well and therefore its clean standard is kept up constantly. They even do your dishes!! The bar is open until the early hours of the morning and provides a great atmosphere for meeting other travelers, as do the TV lounges and dining hall, which always has a few interesting people to talk to. This hostel also has a gym and a DVD room with a big screen, and the comfiest bean bags you'll find in London!! I sound like I an advertisement for this place, but I am happy to be so as it is the best hostel I have come across in my extensive travels. There is no other place I would stay in London.

5 A great place! We've stayed at many different places in London in the last years; the Globetrotter Inn is the best. Quiet, clean and very comfortable. A real good choice for a week in London! Thanks a lot to the friendly and helpful staff!
