Hostelz.com Guest Reviews
1  Not worth the low price! This place is cheap, but it's still not worth it. By far the worst hostel I stayed in Sydney. The dorm rooms are ok but a lot of Asian workers sleeping all day because working night shift. Also problems with alcoholics abusing the guests. One got angry at me because I didn't want to answer him. Don't know how they are allowed to stay there but it's very unpleasant. The kitchen is dirty, small, and lacking cutlery and pots. Bathrooms are also dirty and smell badly. Staff are not very friendly just want your money. I planned to stay a week but stayed just one night. My advice is not to stay here at all unless you are very low on money.  , Sweden ()
1  Wouldn't let a dog stay there This place is sh*t, form the cockroach infested dorms to the f*** head staff it's a waste of money, I was assaulted by the guy I was sharing a 4 bed dorm with 3 times and the pricks wouldn't do anything about it, other then kick me out. Sean the manger at 707 is as thick as a f***ing post n couldn't run a meter let alone a hostel. The bunk beds r old and u have a metal pole half way up ya back, the place has cockroaches every where n the kitchen is so small only 1 person can cook at a time. All I can say is STAY AWAY, SLEEP ON THE STREET if u have 2 just don't go anywhere near this place.  , England ()
4  Best place I’ve stayed at in Sydney -- a proper backpackers. Best place I've stayed at in Sydney -- a proper backpackers. Secure rooms with lockers. We had a problem with a few drunk people in the room being abusive, funny how they looked surprised when they where kicked out. I would recommend this place to anyone.  ()
3  About as basic as possible . Most guests seem to be from China. Here as students apparently, so gets quiet around 9pm most days. They study. Location is excellent for touring Sydney. Kinda uphill walk though to get to Hostel. Kitchen area large but cooking facilities minimal. Free coffee and toast is well utilised by guests from my observation. Can be described as grungy but hey, it's a hostel. AND CHEAP.  , Canada ()
1  Disgusting Place was a hole, cockroaches galore, the guy who runs the place has a serious attitude problem. everything about the place is just disgusting from the showers to the rooms. worst hostel i stayed in, in the six months i was away. avoid this place.  , Scotland ()
