4  Cozy little hostel, central location although a bit old inside This hostel is right on a nice square in the heart of town a few minutes walk from the central square. Can be a bit difficult to find as the sign outside is currently (Oct'11) missing. Inside it's like a cozy apartment; decent free breakfast, lots of free (green) tea as well -- although kitchen hadn't been cleaned even though I checked in late (8pm) & the hostel was near empty. Free internet & computer use, cozy living room. In dorms: quite nice dorm, good lockers, though mattresses were very thin & old and bit dirty; doonas looked somewhat dirty to me as well. Room had not been cleaned well. Curtain was coming of. Dorm could be better. Only one bathroom/toilet for hostel. Friendly staff; they leave around 10 pm.  , NL ()
4  Exactly what I was expected I slept in OLH for three days during summer holiday. I was looking for cheap, clean place close to the center and that was what I get. Worth recommending.  , Germany ()
5  Love:) I love this hostel! Super.  ()
5  Great! Old Town Hostel is my favourite hostel in Krakow. Cheap, comfortable, and localized in the middle of the town. I'll be back there.  ()
5  Very good, clean, quiet, and very friendly, from here you can walk everywhere. After having my wallet stolen these guys could not have helped me more.  ()
5  Old Town Hostel is 2 minutes from Rynek Glowny (the central square of Krakow) and 10 minutes from the main train station. From the train station travel south on Pawia, cross the street using the underground passageway and follow the signs to Basztowa. Turn left on Szpitalna, then turn right on sw. Tomasza. Follow sw. Tomasza until a square parking lot opens up on your left and Old Town Hostel will be 20m ahead on your right. Old Town Hostel is a small (16 beds), usually quiet hostel in the heart of Krakow. The facilities include 2 8-bed dorms, a common area with free internet, a small kitchen, and one bathroom with shower. The entire hostel is spotlessly clean and well-maintained and the price is right. The doorm rooms include a large locker for each person and in the kitchen cornflakes with milk are available for breakfast anytime. The only downside for budget travellers is that the kitchen is not fully equipped - it has a fridge, a microwave, and a sink, but no stovetop or oven. Also, the friendly staff is avaiable 24 hours a day - there is no curfew or lockout. This is not a hostel to meet a variety of other travellers having a beer (or vodka) in the common room, instead it is quiet, clean place from which to explore Krakow from the very centre.  , Canada ()
4  This is a great place.  ()
5  I have heard about this hostel from fellow travelers on the train to Krakow. It's a really nice place. Everything is new - ikea beds, etc. and the staff is very friendly and outgoing. The location is the best. It's a 2 minute walk to the Rynek (the main town square in Krakow where all the restaurants and clubs are) and only 10 minutes from the main train station. You can't find a better base to explore Krakow as most other hostels are farther from the center. There is also a large common area with a free internet computer. It's very nice.  ()
