Llullu Llama is a converted tradtional farmhouse, it has composting bathrooms, recycling of water for the garden and other wastes, organic gardens with permaculture design incorperated in the reconstruction, garden design, ambient and active heating systems.
There are currently four private rooms available, four semi private and a small dorm. A woodfired sauna under construction. Comunal facilities include dining room, sitting room with wood stove, cosy board games loft area, back terrace with view, garden with hammock and friendly dogs.
The village of Isinlivi is a small (250 inhabitants) community with both primary and high schools, and a training woodwork shop turning out spectacular works in beautiful woods. The are oportunities to volunteer in the schools both in town and in the outlying areas.
We have great trail maps and hikes to local traditional markets, preInca remains, ridgetop antennas and rock outcrops, deep canyon valleys, lakes and local farms.
We offer home cooked dinners and breakfasts, local stores sell ingredients for packed lunches for hikers. We encourage visitors to contribute to the local economy, buying fresh bread, cheese and other local produce for their day hikes.
