Location	• In Clovelly sandwiched between Sydney's Bondi and Coogee Beach. 15 minutes from the City Centre and Train/Bus terminal and major attractions, 10 minutes from Bondi Junction Train Station, and 20 minutes from the airport by shuttle bus or taxi. There is an express bus from the front door that runs to the City every 15 minutes. • From Central Bus & Train Station - take the #339 bus which will drop you at the front door. • From the Airport call call 1800857004 to organise pick up. A taxi will cost about $22.

Fantastic and welcoming

We stayed here for Christmas 2005 and had a fantastic time. We were only meant to stay for a few days before Christmas and were dreading going to the only hostel we had been able to find room at but they managed to squeeze us in and cooked us a fantatsic dinner on the terrace. As it is family run we felt like we were being well looked after, like when dad told us off for spending too long at the beach on the hottest day of the year. All the other guests were friendly and we had a brand new group of friends within about thirty minutes of arriving. This was the first place we had stopped for more than two nights in about three months and we totally felt at home here. I can't recommend it enough.

Brilliant

I also stayed here in 2002 for several months and it was a great place to meet people and have fun. Would recommend to anyone, especially people traveling on their own.

I loved this place, we ended up spending most of the year here,it was really easy to meet people and the managers are really easy going and relaxed. A place to party 24/7. Although it was 2002 when I stayed but I am still friends with some of the people we met here and a lot of us all left at the same time and did the east coast together really friendly vibe about the place. Im coming back this year and will definitely pay this place a visit.

I stayed at the castle for several months. It's a great place. It's clean, has good people and is close enough to Bondi and Coogee Beach. The only bad part is that it's at the top of a very big hill.
