4 Located around five minutes from Centraal Station, this Dutch hostel is only open from June to August, when it reverts from the usual student association. Extremely basic, the hostel offers cheap sleep, with a buffet-style breakfast of bread, cheese, ham, eggs and juice included. The hostel is only available to those under 27 years of age. The hostel is relatively easy to find - just a short walk straight from the rail station. The hostel is open from 4pm to 1am, with a mixed, men-only and women-only dorm, although no sheets are provided, so you need to supply your own bedding. Inside, the hostel has a nice common room, with two video games consoles (retro NES and modern PS2) with a range of games. These are available to play at no charge but they are popular! This is also a great way to meet people as male and female travellers tended to play and crowd round. Facilties available are extremely limited, with no kitchen or lockers. In fact, only one dorm has a door and it has no lock, so you do not actually get a key. Wash areas are seldom-maintained and small - literally a corner for a shower, toilet and sink. Overall, Sleep-Inn SSRR is a budget hostel, with poor facilities and bedding but an entertaining common room. If you want a cheap sleep, go here.
