Clean, safe, new bed and breakfast with excellent staff My girlfriend and I stayed here in a private room twin bed for 4 nights, 18-22nd July, 2011. This is a new safe, clean bed and breakfast in central Rome near Termini Train and bus station. Metro very close and many reasonably priced restaurants close by. Not easy to find at night as few people seem to know name of street. Accommodation is on third floor up three lots of stairs. Very kind, friendly staff Dianna. In good location for rome attractions, basic breakfast plus coffee-tea included. Are given keys so can come and go at any time. 4 keys to open 4 different doors, so very secure, but keys can be confusing. Toilet-shower very small, but clean and with hot water and toilet paper, soap is available if you ask. towels and bedding provided. Be aware of a 2 euros tax per person per night is extra after booking. Restaurants also charge a tax, but its not on menu prices. Room a little expensive, but not bad for Rome. Would stay again. There is no real place to meet other people apart from in the entrance. There is a second building, one street away, which might be better. There is a microwave and fridge plus coffee machine in the main hall by entrance. — Tony Giles , England (2011-07-26)
Decent room, poor security, stressful check-in When we arrived we were told that our actual room was in a different building down the street. This was a problem because one of our traveling companions in Rome had arrived on a different flight and was going to meet us at the hostel, but he only knew the address of the check-in place, not of where we'd actually be. We had no way to contact him immediately, so we tried to explain to the staff that when our a friend (a really tall, blonde, can't-miss-him American) shows up, they should direct him to our room. Nobody who was working there understood any English though, and they had no clue what we were talking about. We were very worried, thinking that our friend would arrive there and just get turned away because the name on the reservation was mine and not his. Luckily he happened to be walking into the check-in place just as we were walking out, so a lot of confusion was averted -- no thanks to the hostel staff, who should probably bone up on their English considering what their job is. The room itself was decent enough, though it got really noisy outside on one of the nights. The bathroom was clean and spacious, and we only had to share it with one other small room which was nice. The security situation was pretty bad though, because the bedrooms and the bathroom all used the exact same key, so the people next door could have just waltzed into our room and rifled through our bags as they pleased. Luckily they didn't, but I would suggest that if you stay at this hostel you should bring luggage locks and maybe a cable lock to secure your bag to a room fixture. We slept well and had a great time in Rome, which is the important thing. — Ethan , USA (2007-12-04)

Brand New, Clean, Friendly, location location location I have stayed at two of Antonio's hostel's and both times have been a great experience. Antonio has a hostel just blocks away from Termini, and also near the Vatican! They were both newly renovated, and he even arranged transportation to pick me up because my flight arrived very late! The hostel room itself was very clean and the rooms are spacious. I would recommend this hostel to anyone who wants a nice, clean, and decently priced place to stay while they visit Roma. — Tina from NYC , USA (2007-05-24)
