They don't seem to believe in giving you any directions to hostels in Gotland, both hostels we stayed in were not signposted at all and difficult to find. Turn off the main road north of Visby to Lummelunda (which is signposted) and you'll find Lummelunda Vandrarhem close to the end of the road on the left, have a look at the pictures so you'll recognise it when you get there.
The hostel is clean and tidy, it has a good kitchen with a large dining and living area, the bathrooms could do with some updating, but are at least clean. There are bunk rooms as well as separate cottages that you can stay in for a good price.
The staff were very helpful. We were arriving late so they left a note for us telling us what room to go to. They did make us vacuum our room in the morning before we left though to avoid an extra cleaning charge!
The hostel is very close to the sea, has a nice balcony and forested surroundings, a very peaceful setting. A good place to stay if you are working your way around the island or want to stay out of Visby.
