Worst hostel experience I stayed here for one night in mid-March. There was no heat in the hostel, which rendered my room absolutely freezing. When I asked for extra blankets, I was told that they ran out. I had to sleep fully clothed with my coat on. But even then, my face was still cold. The first floor was an American style bar and was extremely loud well after midnight. The wi-fi system did not work. The people working there did not have time for customers as they were too busy whistling at female passers-by. The only plus was that they answered their email rather quickly. Stay here at your own risk. — trevor , USA (2011-03-23)
Would not recommend to worst enemy. What a dump. The only thing missing was rodents scurrying down the hall. The guy is a total idiot. And the wife is greedy. I made my reservation and the family didnt even have a room for me and my wife when we arrived. The guy told me to sleep on the roof under the stars and everybody does it (he gave me and my wife some dirty bed, nasty sheets probable had sex on for days). The bar is a joke. slamming music all night but nobody drinks there except the dirty guy and and the greedy wife. They will ask you to drink with them, they are so pathetic (and charge you of course)! do not stay here. it is a f***ing dump that will ruin your trip to bodrum. The bathrooms stink. — mick , canada (2009-11-27)
Absolutely awful Do not stay here. They do not pay any attention to any of their reservations, will happily take the deposit but will never have your reservation. nearly everyone i spoke to at the hostel did not have the room they wanted. they blamed the lack of reservation on the internet company we booked with, but this was blatantly a lie, we never got our money back. the rooms are tiny, the bathrooms stink and are mouldy. there is no pool or fans or air-con. its extremely noisy and the bar is awful -- it appeared to be empty every night with only the people that "worked" there being in the bar. If you want to have a good time save yourself some hassle and dont even think about staying here, you'd have a better time sleeping on the street with the strays. — k.edwards , uk (2008-08-07)

This place is cheap and a very good central location to the bus station and downtown bodrum bars, shops, food, and the castle. The bar is british so it's mainly aussies, americans, and brits who stay here. The bathrooms can get a bit dirty due to leakage from the showers and people stepping on it. I forget the guy's name who works there but he is really nice, speaks good English, and can be helpful if you ask. The bar and kitchen staff is awesome. — Annie (2006-08-10)

Very friendly and helpful English speaking staff. Good location — the hostel is a 10-minute walk with the backpack ;) from the bus station, and to the center it's approximately a 1-minute walk. A problem is that it can be a bit noisy because of the bar downstairs, which is playing music usually until 3 or 4 in the morning. The place is clean and upstairs there is a nice cozy terrace with the view to the city and sea. And travelers just keep postponing their departure. — Viive, Estonia (2005-07-10)
Very uncomfortable. — Anonymous (2005-04-04)

Cheap, clean, and everybody's friendly. The Euro 2004 game (Britain v. Portugal) was quite an experience for an American in a British bar (in Turkey, no less). But the environment was just as enjoyable (if not quite as crazy) on any given night. Five stars for price and quality, but you are probably better off walking across the street for any meal more than chips. The Efes Pilsen is just as good no matter where you go, though, and you'll have a better time here than you will at a hotel or hostel five times the price just up the block. A private room for two (with bath and window) was less than $20 (USD) a night! Fantastic. — Gareth Sparks (2005-02-18)

This is a brilliant hostel with friendly people. It's a fabulous place; I had the best holiday here. It's the best place; take me back there now! — Yvette (2004-11-20)
