This hostel was very new and clean, had friendly owners, and was close to the local beach for a taste of the REAL Acapulco. The hostel was in Puerto Marquez, so it was a bit removed from the main drag; I needed to take a taxi or bus to go out at night, but the area was more relaxing and the beaches were better there. One could go to either the open ocean or to the small, pretty bay.
