Location | • Tortuguero is a National Park located in the Caribbean of Costa Rica and was created in 1975 to protect the green turtle. There are more than 73.000 hectares between the canals and the rain forest where you can will more than 2,400 species of plants and trees, 87 species of mammals, more than 150 species of amphibians and reptiles and more than 400 species of birds including the migratory ones. • Our hostel has single, double and triple rooms with ocean view. Hot water is supplied 24hrs days, meals are provided and we have local tour guides with expert knowledge to take you on various types of tours: • *Hiking Tours • Where you can see monkeys, mammals, birds, frogs, snakes, and much more! • *Canal Tours • Take a boat through the canals and enjoy river turtles, Caymans, basilisk, snakes, monkeys, sloths, mammals, and birds. • *Turtle Tour (in season between July & September) • See the Turtles laying eggs at night.
