Description
This brand new two-bedroom fully furnished Guesthouse (built June 2010) is located in a semi-rural property just a short 5 min walk from the beach (Papaaroa), Titikaveka, Rarotonga. Although many visitors seek beachside accommodation, they sometimes don't realise that the beach is also very close to the traffic which runs along the main road encircling the island.
If you want the authentic experience of living on Rarotonga with peace and quiet and total relaxation then this is the place for you. Raus Guesthouse has been recently moved to a brand new location and a brand new house just 4km from where the old location(Main Road) use to be and is now situated on the Inland Road in a quiet, sealed road. It captures the cool, prevailing south-east trade wind.
The house is five minutes walk from the main road where round-the-island buses stop at the Kent Hall (Titikaveka) and a further 2 minutes to the nearest beach. Raus Guesthouse is set on a half-acre among banana & Pawpaw trees. It has polished tile floors and the walls is of concrete brick construction (cool in the hot weather) and warm in cool weather and has verandahs facing north and south to protect against the afternoon sun. It also has a high ceiling which allows maximum air circulation Features are:-
• Tiled shower.
• Automatic washing machine.
• Insect-screened.
• Security screens & fans in Bedrooms.
• Full size gas stove with grill and oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer.
• Radio, TV and DVD player.
• King size bed in one room, two singles in the other.
• Free local calls
• Internet & Wireless connection
• Free bread daily.
POLICY:
We have a Minimum Stay policy of 4 x days stay
Living down south means you also have to have your transport facilitys in mind. Scooters, Pushbikes can be arranged or Public Bus.
