I would like to say that I am not that picky. I have been to many hostels in Europe and had almost entirely good experiences, but this is by far the worst. Yes this place is cheap, but you get even less then you pay for. I stayed there with two other girls in the Spring of 2005. There were four cockroaches in our room which we saw and all of them were between two and three inches in length (I am not exaggerating at all). We couldn't leave after eleven because there is a curfew and they only offered hot showers for a couple of hours a day. It was awful especially since the hotels nearby are cheap enough to stay in for just a few more dollars.

There's nowhere else to stay, so you might as well stay here -- but do so for as short a period of time as possible. It's clean enough, but the staff is a wee bit on the grouchy side and you feel more like you're in a boarding school than a hostel.

classic hostel in the main street.. great location.. run by a family... husband and wife with grandma as well... dont drink booze heer they will freak out... at 10 euro a night though worth it unless you want to sleep in a tent... a must see town.. the home of the olympics..
