Terrible, dont stay here! Poor location, it is miles from the bus station and other activities in Palmerston North. Staff member (and the signs around the hostel) was pretty rude to other guests and myself, it was almost as if she did not want us to stay. Dont supply any linen and are extremely reluctant to give out duvets if you dont have a sleeping bag. Rubbish value for money, really expensive 8 person dorm room that the facilities did not justify. I stayed in much cheaper independent hostels where the facilities were better and there were additional extras included in the price. In short I was very happy to leave in the morning. — James Dickie , Scotland (2011-07-21)

Awesome! Great place to stay! Great location near the centre of town -- easy walk in to the pubs! Clean, comfortable accommodation with great facilities. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. — Anonymous , New Zealand (2011-05-11)
This place is far from the bus station for anyone to walk with their bags, and not the most friendly on the phone!!! We arrived in the evening and they made it sound almost as if it was a hassle for us to stay!! We arrived and didn't get shown around — so we had to ask where we could find the toilets!!! We were there in June and although it was warm in the evening it was Baltic in the morning!!! No heating whatsoever!!! We were huddled round in sleeping bags waiting to be picked up and to leave the place behind forever!!! — Anonymous (2005-09-08)
