Location is great - we booked a 4 person room for 3 people - the double bed was broken which made it very uncomfortable but there was nobody around to tell when we were leaving. I can't really comment on whether or not it’s a 'fun place' there was a most unfriendly couple there with their children and we were made feel a nuisance when using the kitchen in the morning - they weren't Irish by the way.

The staff was absolutely nice and helpful, as we told them that we were freezing the night before (other hostel) they showed us at once how the heating works. They are international, so that you could try with other languages like polish and german. The kitchen was really good stuffed and after a long day of driving and hiking we really enjoyed its comfortability and cosyness. It is really close to the beach and the local pub.
