The hostel is a country house set in its own grounds dating back to 1820. The site is dominated by a large Cedar Tree and the site is very quiet and popular with international visitors. The extensive garden has a free car park, and also has many picnic benches for you to relax and enjoy.
The hostel benefits from a period charm and many features of the old house have been retained. There are additional facilities in our Tulip Tree Lodge which is a seperate unit behind the main house.
The accommodation is just a few minutes walk into the city centre, and the 13th century famous Cathedral can be seen from the garden, being just 10 minutes walk. Salisbury also has a wealth of medieval buildings to explore, aswell as prehistoric sites like Old Sarum. The hostel can provide details of a pleasant walk to the site, which boasts impressive city views.
