I came here about four years ago on a battlefields trip. This is perhaps the worst place I've ever stayed. The soup was the same colour as the pond outside and the groups on the floor above us tried to take our floor using a deodorant flame thrower. Also a strange man came into our room and had a crap. Still was perhaps one of the funniest things i've ever experienced

I was here last year with my school on a History trip and i thought it was great, the only thing i did not like were the beds.

I went with my school to this hostel and it just wasn't clean enough. We found a frog in the games room, which was pretty disgusting. But I suppose when you're with your friends and visiting those sites it doesn't really matter. And I loved the Tartinut Duo!!

The hotel itself is very dated. The beds were broken and the food is of a very poor standard. It is very basic, but as long as you are with your mates as I was it doesn't really matter that much. We had a good time but would have preferred to stay at a much nicer hotel.

This place was really fun. I was a bit apprehensive at first but it was a right laugh! It was relatively clean, the rooms were alright and the shower and toilet were shining. The only problem I had was the choice of food, as the soup always had hair in it. We made a game out of it, seeing who got the hair, but after a while it became quite gross. However, we brought the roof down when the disco went on the last night! Woo hoo! I have to say the fire alarm at 6 a.m. in the morning woke us all up a treat too. Peace out!

Nice people. Ok food and a brilliant games room. Rooms could have been a bit cleaner, though.

We have just been on the Battlefields experience and we came to stay at this hostel. It was very inappropriate for youngsters my age to come and stay in for 4 nights. I would advise you to change your bedding now and then. We had some fun though and it was an experience of a lifetime.

Our stay was unbelievable. The view was great, the facilities were great and the food was great. I will surely come back next year. Thank you for a lovely stay.

It was rubbish. I went there with my school and it was a dump. Mehmet was very friendly but he couldn't cook. Tartinut Duo was the best... Memories.

I stayed here November 11, and it was excellent. The staff were very kind and helpful, even helping us get to the hostel from the station in France, because there is no public transportation to that village. It was perfect.

This place had very clean facilities with friendly staff and a good price. The owners acknowledge that the property IS getting tired and are still awaiting planning permission to renovate. But for a budget price hostel this IS an excellent value. We'll certainly return next year.
