Albergo for Backpackers

Albergo for Backpackers is set up on the hill with a panoramic view over a beautiful tidal lagoon and the Indian Ocean, Albergo is in a convenient location in the centre of town. Shops, bars and restaurants are on the doorstep and even the beaches are nearby. Our peaceful garden is large enough for both an energetic game of cricket or football and lazy dreaming in swaying hammocks.

Every night is bonfire night, and hey, if you want to practice your braai-ing skills, we happily lend you a hand. The television room (with its satellite TV for sport addicts), bar and pool table are set away from the main house.

We provide transport to most activities in the Plettenberg Bay area. Most information about Plettenberg Bay is available at the reception. Here our helpful managers will book any activity in town for you (always ask for the special backpacker prices). Our managers can also help to book accommodation at other backpackers in south Africa.
