Excellent hostel, good location, clean, got everything you need for a very good price. We enjoyed the time spent there and highly recommend it to anyone. Only thing we missed is internet in the room. The only option was to go to the main office and use the shared office computer to go online which sometimes was a drag as other people were using it.

I stayed in the Hong Kong Budget Hostel in May 2005. This is a very good hostel to stay in. It is very clean, and Jacky Chan, who operates the hostel, is very friendly and was very helpful to me in understanding Hong Kong. I plan to return to Hong Kong for New Year's 2005-2006 and I plan to stay at the Hong Kong Budget Hostel.

Nice area, but very bad hostel. Unfriendly staff and bad smell. Avoid.
