We stayed here in September 2006. Nice little place, close to restaurants, supermarket, beaches, and the cinemas and port. Rooms were superbly cleaned daily, facilities were great (I learned to cook all meals in a tiny pot!), and we had a balcony -- lovely!

I had arrived at Paros with no prior accommodation booking but had read in Lonely Planet that Pension Rena was the best value-for-money in town. Booked myself for two nights there and it was just like what Lonely Planet had said -- rooms were extremely clean and well-kept, basic amenities were well-provided for, and yet it was the cheapest domatia I had paid for amongst the six islands I had visited. Rena is a lovely lady too, very friendly, and hospitable.

I arrived at Paros in the middle of the night and pretty much just stumbled upon Pension Rena, but I guess I got lucky!
I'd really only intended to stay on Paros for 2 days, but this place was so comfortable I thought I'd extend my visit for another day.
It was the cheapest place I stayed in whilst I was travelling round the Cyclades, but it was also by far the best. The place is clean — immaculate, in fact. I had my own TV, shower and refrigerator. It was great. There was also a little balcony.
I'd grown used to staying in slightly run-down accommodation whilst backpacking, but the Pension Rena was a very nice change from all that. By my standards at the time, it was bordering on luxury!
It's a very sweet little guesthouse and the family that owned it was very friendly.
This place was an incredible value.
I'd definitely recommend this place to anybody going to Paros. If only all budget accommodation was like this!

Although the weather wasn't too good, we've spent a lovely time on Paros. Pension Rena was one of the best budget places we've stayed at so far in Europe; it has excellent service and a beautiful room for such a low price. Thank you, Rena and George, for making our stay unforgettable!

This was definitely the best and cleanest hostel we've been at while traveling through Greece. The owners are so friendly and helpful! We had a room on the upper level of the building, which had a beautiful view of the sea from our balcony. I give it SIX STARS!

O yes!!! Found this site while surfing on the net, didn't know that RENA was on the net. It's our second home in Greece! Tove found RENA 14 years ago while travelling alone. Since then we have been there every year while island-jumping. We have, during the years, been in a lot of different pensions. RENA on Paros is outstanding as a guesthouse, you really are a guest there. It has lovely hosts, clean rooms and is very central. Highly recommended by Tove & Kjell Nygren, Fredrikstad, Norway.

There are two things that define this hostel--cleanliness, and an extremely friendly staff. The staff were so nice that I started to wonder about their motives. :-), Seriously, I was island-hopping and this was the cleanest place I visited. The only downside is that rooms are pretty small for two people. My room had ceiling fan, its own refrigerator, a balcony (facing a road) and some gas-operated camping cooking apparatus. Rena is also conveniently near one of biggest supermarkets on Paros, and near the harbour. It's pretty quiet, though--expect, of course, the damn mopeds (you can't escape them).
