The main advantage with this place is the location. It's literally less than five minutes from the square. Other than that it was nice and clean. The cleaning lady was very nice and seemed to look over you. Also there was a small fridge you could use to store beers and whatnot. The bathrooms were nice and all private. The hostel itself is on the fourth floor of a building which has a sports bar on the bottom. You get a key so you can get in at any time. The only real minus is the fact that it isn't really social. There's no lounge or anything like that -- basically just rooms and bathrooms. So basically the only way you'll meet anyone is inadvertently. — Scott (2007-02-24) This hostel is pretty clean, but not much more. It is not cosy. The best thing is the location. It is close to almost everything. There is a doorbell on the street which poeple ring on in the night, and that is quite disturbing. Otherwise the place was not noisy when we were there, but the doors are thin. Our room was to the inner yard, so there was not much noise from outside, except a little sometimes from a pub on the bottom floor (the hostel is on fourth floor). The lady who runs the place is ok, but when we arrived at ten o'clock in the evening she said several times that she had been waiting all day for us, although we told her on the phone several times that we would be coming this time. And that was not so fun to hear the first thing when you arrive. I can recommend this hostel, but maybe you can find cosier hostels with more atmosphere in prague. Here you get a bed at not much more. — Karin (2006-07-22) I stayed at their private apartment 3 minutes from the hostel. It was a very nice apartment of the ground floor of a nice building. We thought it was a great deal. Could have easily stayed for a week as the place had a decent kitchen, nice TV and very excellent location. The toilet had a leak, but I think it was just a new toilet. The lady at Condor Hostel was very nice to us. — Mark (2005-08-20) The rooms are basic but clean and so are the bathroom facilities. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they provided transportation to and from the airport for a reasonable fee. The best things about this hostel are the location and the price. I came here with a group of male friends so it was perfect for going out and having a place to sleep. — Nima K. (2004-12-09) Quiet (not the most sociable of hostels) but very well situated. This place has helpful staff; very clean, shared facilities; and it's secure on the 3rd floor. (It has an elevator, and three keys are required to get into your room from the street level). It's easy enough to get here from the airport on public transport – you take the bus, then the Metro, then there's a short walk, albeit with all your luggage across cobblestones! The rooms are simple but adequate, with loads of power points (electrical outlets), a couple of coat hangers with a rail and a chair and two small tables. Workers at the pub and restaurant below the hostel like to lob all their glass in the bottle bin at closing time, so don't go to bed too early! It's not that bad, though.
