The Hostelz.com Review
Baywatch Manor Resort in August, on Australia's most south-westerly point, is probably Australia's most-awarded backpacker accommodation. This hostel maintains a small, homey, and very friendly atmosphere. It's located close to Augusta's main drag, just about 50 meters from it. You will see the sign. This place is also a good place to get information on what to do in Augusta and around it.
The hostel itself is quite new, and the building is in excellent condition. It is a two-story brick building. Most of the space on the first floor is used as a kitchen, a huge dining area, a common room, and the showers. As a result, the hostel can only contain a small number of people at one time. It has only three dorm rooms, two of which have six beds, and one has four, so book ahead if you know the time you want to stay here. The beds are very comfortable, and each bed has its own personal light. There are also individual lockers in each of the rooms.
The hostel has a nice garden, with a lot of places to sit outside. You can also sit on the veranda on the second floor. The kitchen is good, and provides free tea/cofee. The dining area is very big, and in the evenings, the fireplace is working. The showers and toilets are very clean.
The hostel has it's own internet access and laundry. The parking is in front of the building. The owners are very friendly, and will do their best to make you feel at home.

What more can I ask for? Excellent facilities, thought I was in a five--Star hotel when I walked into the bathroom. I stayed there in late October. Not many guests, so I had the seven-bed dorm all to myself. Highly recommended! — Hanna Kang (2007-11-11)

September 11th this is where I was. I stayed here on a big trip through the Southwest. This place has a really nice bathroom and clean dorms. This is one of those places you stop at and treat yourself to a nice bathroom. — crazy Trevor (2004-10-15)

This is one of my favorite Australian hostels that I visited during 2002. Sparkling place with wonderful owner. — Eric (2004-03-06)
