Description

The lodge is part of Sovereign Hill Goldmining Township which is a re-creation of an 1950s township. Pan for gold and see a working display of the gold mining era. Ballarat is also a busteling city featuring many galleries, museums, antique and craft shops, cafes and other fantastic attractions.

Normal, nothing special This hostel was ok to stay at but not special in any way, a pity because the hotel that is attached to it is a very fancy place. The rooms were cleaned but not spotless. It was a very quiet hostel. Only thing i really missed was a good place to sit. we only had a eating table and that's not so comfy for a whole night of TV. I would go back if I had to go to Ballarat but don't expect anything special happening. — Marina , Netherlands (2009-01-18)
