4 Great place to stay, wonderful colors, and a rooftop patio
Villa Santa is a great place to stay -- they have a wonderful kitchen and great staff. I have stayed here every year since 2002 while vacationing in Guadalajara. The only recent down turn is it used to be considered a hostel, containing mostly international travelers, but now in my opinion the feeling is of a live in boarding house for students of Mexico. no problem with this fact, except the atmosphere in my opinion was cliqueish and self absorbed. Ive met a lot of great people while visiting here, so if planning to stay a couple days I recommend the place. staying extended days it may wear on you in that you may feel the segregation influences or you may feel at Home.

5 Vilasanta is an extremely nice place, especially when compared with the other posadas in Guadalajara. They give you your own key to the front door so that there is no curfew. The staff are friendly and the rooms are cleaned daily. Many of the people staying here are students learning Spanish at the IMAC School or people studying to be TEFL teachers. The constant influx of students makes for a fun and interesting environment.
