viv is the best. the dog is beautiful. i felt safe and happy and warm. thanks for producing a safe environment for us to stay. thanks for all hospitality and great memories.

Great — that says it all. An oasis within an oasis with a feeling of home. All rooms are evaporative-cooled, which permits that the doors and windows may be left open — a great relief in the summer. There's a supermarket next door and a great feed at the Port Bourke five minutes away with a cafe/bakery opposite, which opens at 6 a.m. already. And you love the dog, which guards the nicely set-out garden.

This was the best excursion we've ever had...all due to the lovely people at the Gidgee Guesthouse.
