There was no soap in any of the toilet rooms, very noisy dormitories, and the slope in front of the hostel was frozen. The staff were very nice, but this place is sure not worth the price nor the stay!! — Pegg (2005-03-04) The good: the hostel isn't so far from the center of town by Metro (though the 700 meter walk only tells half the story), and the surrounding woods and river offer good walks.
The bad: this place has no soul. The rules include "no partying," no alcohol in the place (glad to see most people flouted this) and no sleeping bags. The beds in our room were so bad that we had to bundle all the bedding on the floor to make a comfortable place to sleep (under our contraband sleeping bags). In fact, one of the beds in our room was missing a leg. Plus the reception is mainly unmanned, so there is no one to complain to! But then if you pay peanuts . . . — TH (2005-02-18) It was awful!
