Description
Kakadu Ubirr YHA is a comfortable place offering budget twin share accommodation set in natural bushland. It is situated next to the beautiful Ubirr Rock and is close to many other attractions in the northern region of Kakadu National Park. The adjacent Border Store is well equipped with all basic food provisions, fuel, fishing gear and locally crafted Aboriginal artefacts.

This is a VERY BASIC hostel, but the atmosphere and remoteness (although not far from Jabiru) are wonderful. Walks and an amazing river cruise available from front door of hostel. Not a place for those wanting any luxury. Remember to bring your torch and be prepared for the constant hum of the generator and for possibly having a cold shower.......We however love the genuine hospitality we have received on our 2 visits and are planning on going back. — GMA (2005-06-13)
