I want to live there! Just perfect, couldn't have asked for anything better. Wish we could have spent more time. People were incredibly friendly and was such a relaxed vibe about the place. And obviously Biz biz -- what a dude!

If you can find this one its gonna be a memorable trip for you! I was found outside the door (unmarked!) and told it was a 'special place for special people' and that it was! with a steady flow of incredible people and a unique 'community' vibe i enjoyed cooking up tagines with bizbiz (the cool in house surf dude!). Rebecca (the owner), cool as and so generous! if you want a large hostel vibe this is not for you; but if you are cool and want a unique, interesting, intimate atmosphere, then this one is a must. Its underground surf shack cave heaven in the middle of essaouira medina! (its more like paying a few pounds and sleeping at your friends house! -- so relaxed!)

Well we were very impressed with this place and the wicked, cool funky people who also were drawn there. The landlady was just as special. It seemed like you were in the heart of Essa while being with like minded people in a hostel that was like a three/four star hotel. Nicely decked out in art by other guests who enjoyed their stay and original design by the hostess. I've been there twice already and am going back soon...a special place.
