The Hostelz.com Review
This place is pretty awesome - definitely the place you want to stay if you are traveling alone, as the price is only 100 pesos per person ($9-$10 USD). The hostel is located right on the beach and on the main strip, around the corner from the bus station. So the location could really not be any better. There is a magnificent rooftop terrace with a clean, usable kitchen, tables and chairs, and an awesome view of the sea.

The dorms are separated into male and female areas. There are private dorms available for 350 pesos, and there is one six-person room available for 750 pesos. All rooms are kept very clean, and the location of the hostel away from traffic makes for good sleeping. Despite the quiet atmosphere, the layout of the place makes it all the more easy to meet travelers from all over the world, if you so choose.

Other features include cable TV, large security lockers that could fit any sized backpack, and a complimentary continental breakfast. Hot water is available from 6 am to 9 pm. Checkout is at 1 pm, so if you feel the need to sleep off the previous night, it shouldn't be much of a problem.

Horrible service and unfriendly staff
The staff was busy watching TV and pretended not to understand anything. The rooftop kitchen was disgusting, and the breakfast was a joke.

This hostel is an excellent place to stay, the location is great (opposite the bus station) and the staff are friendly. If you like to party then the rooftop terrace is the place to drink bottles of Tequilla all night long before heading to the Blue Parrot. Highly recommended hostel.

Good hostel. It had a fantastic free breakfast for a hostel and a lovely rooftop terrace for chilling out.

I stayed here once and had a really good time. At night we went up on their terrace, where you could look out over the ocean, get a nice breeze, and play cards.
