Hostel & Guest House Bistrik

This hostel is situated up a steep hill and is difficult to access unless you're on foot! However, once you're here it has a nice relaxing feel, and the rooms are refreshingly homely. There is a separate toilet and good-sized bathroom, though when we stayed here, there was hardly ever any hot water for showers. There is also no shower curtain, so you have to flood the floor with water! The owners are helpful, particularly when it comes to sorting out your transport.

We're four girls who came to Sarajevo by car, and we were very glad to find this place. It's near the city center, and yet in a very calm neighbourhood. The owners are also very friendly. We'll surely come here when we come to Sarajevo again.
