This is a Hostelling International (HI) hostel. A membership card isn't required, but an extra fee will apply for non-members. You can get a membership card before your trip here.

Description

Seaside Lodge is a warm,friendly and homely environment.
Situated opposite some of the best and safest beaches in Tasmania.
5 minutes walk to town centre.
Backpacker/budget accommodation dorms,twins,doubles and
family room with ensuite (all linen supplied).Large self-catering kitchen,lounge,TV,laundry,fishing gear,tennis racquets,canoe and bike hire,barbecue area with ocean and estuary views. 4 star backpacker rating,discounts to YHA members,group and weekly rates available.
Use the lodge as your base to visit the local wineries and lavender farm,Mt.William National Park,Blue Lake,Eddystone Point,Bay of Fires,Cuckoo Falls,Derby Tin Mine Centre,St.Columbia Falls,Sea Horse World,Platypus World. Canoe or fish in the rivers or the sea,bird watch,slide down the big dunes,or walk the coastal track along the beach to the wild flower reserve. 50 minutes from Launceston,
100 minutes from St.Helens.

An very friendly place to stay, great views, great town, great host. we only had one night here but were really impressed with this little seaside town and its friendly peoples. The hostel was very clean and tidy and the room we stayed in had a TV and fridge, home away from home. The local hotel is just a short stroll away as are the shops, and the walk along the beach is magic.

Great place. Bridport is a nice little town with several restaurants and coffee shops. It has a very relaxed atmosphere. The hostel is great — I didn't want to leave. It was very clean, and had a nice view of the bay, a huge kitchen/eating area, and a nice shower/toilet. Murray (the owner) was very helpful.
