Very good This is a nice hostel, it's pretty big but not at all unwelcoming. The kitchen was big and had plenty of plates, pans and there were lots of fridges, which we didn't find everywhere. There is a great common room and a laundry. The staff were all pleasant -- this was our first stop in Oz and we set the bar by it. We had a double room, which was clean and had a large locker. There were computers downstairs in the lobby. All in all everything we needed and a good central location.

The best inexpensive place to stay with family in Adelaide! I and my two teenage children had reserved a room for three at this hostel during a stop while on the excellent eight-day Wayward Bus Tour (led by the incomparable Greg!) from Alice to Adelaide. So when we showed up, it was heaven to not cope with trying to find accommodations, as we had a fortnight earlier in Darwin. The reception was so helpful in giving us directions about activities and location of the train station. I only wish we had had more time to take advantage of this marvelous area! The quarters were very high quality, as was the entire establishment, exceptionally clean and safe.

One of the best hostels in Oz! Close to everything you need, especially the amazing Adelaide Central Markets! The lounge area with the huge kitchen is almost too good to be true, enough dishes for everyone to cook up a storm and lots of space! You may regret it if you go to Adelaide and don't stay there!

I was impressed with the quality of the kitchens and eating area, also the showers were the best I have seen in a hostel or backpackers. I would gladly stay at this hostel again in the future. it has been a good experience, especially after having stayed in some other local backpackers. parking facilities were good and affordable.

This was probably the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Come here if you want a good night's sleep. But don't come to party. It doesn't get five stars due to lack of fun.

I've stayed here twice, the last time in March 06. Even though it was full the hostel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Has a big kitchen and lots of common areas, plus a travel office. I'd recommend it to anyone except party animals who might find it too quiet.

I only stayed here for one night, but I loved it. The rooms and bathrooms were both very clean and the staff were very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

A great hostel, and it feels a bit more homely than some of the other large YHA places.
