I don't know how this hostel has managed to get such a good review. Let me put you straight -- the hostel owner grunted on arrival. the two showers have large signs in them banning the patron from using more than five minutes of warm water. smelly, scratchy blankets are the only warmth. and there's dubious signs around the hostel declaring support for the Tasmania gun club. Hey, if you want to feel like you're on the set of a hammer horror then go ahead!

It's a lot less cluttered now! It has comfy sofas, and I had my best night's sleep in ages.

Very scenic, and the view from the verandah is stunning. Quiet and restful.

A little cluttered and disorganized but such a wonderful spot that you don't even notice. Magic view!
